Eureka 4870MZ Boss Smart-Vac Upright HEPA Vacuum Cleaner
The History Behind The Vacuum Before Heppa Filter Vacuum Cleaners
The first vacuum was invented by an inventor named Daniel Hess in 1860. It wasn’t really a vacuum per say but more of a carpet sweeper. He did manage to get a patent on it though. No records indicate whether or not it was actually every constructed. But it consisted of rotating brushes and bellows that attempted to create a suction. It wasn’t until about 40 years later. In 1908 a gentleman named James Spangler from a town called Canton Ohio obtained a patent on the first portable electric vacuum cleaner. I bet you can’t guess who his cousin in law was. Well his name was William Hoover and he lent his name to the company that became legendary and a staple of many homes worldwide.
Since then the vacuum has gone through many changes and improvements. There are so many different types a vacuums now from robot vacuums to hepa filter vacuums and in between. Having said that there are actually two different ways that vacuums are rated. The first is actually rated on how it picks up debris not only from the carpet but from the floor as well. The second way is rarely ever thought of and that is how the vacuum filters air and releases it back into the house.
This is where the hepa filter vacuum comes into play. Individuals with allergies should consider hepa filter vacuums. Hepa vacuums can filter out up to 99% of dust, pollen and common household allergens and bacteria. My thought is that if you are going to purchase a vacuum why not purchase a hepa vacuum.
Most vacuums come in either a canister style or an upright vacuum. Either style has its advantages and disadvantages. Upright vacuums are easier to use if you don’t like to bend much. The canister vacuums are easier to drag around as opposed to pushing and pulling the upright model. When you are ready to make your purchase it would be best to do your homework to find which model is best for you. Another reason why hepa filter vacuum cleaners are a good choice is because they are beneficial for asthma and allergy sufferers. HEPA filter vacuum cleaners are very useful for trapping fine particles that can cause allergy and asthma symptoms.
